Study Room

The standard size of a living room is 2400 x 3000 mm (8 x 10 ft.)
The minimum width of the living room should be 3000 x 3000 mm (10 x 10 ft.).

The dimensions of the study room with bed should be a minimum of 3000 x 3600 mm (10 x 12 ft.). This much space is suitable for a single bed, a study area, and storage. You can design a bigger study room of 3300 x 3600 mm (11 x 12 ft.)

Living Room

The standard size of a living room is 4200 x 4800 mm to 5400 mm x 7200 mm.
The minimum width of the living room should be 3300–3600 mm.

The living room is referred to by many names, like the sitting room, lounge, family room, parlor, and lounge. It is a room that is used for gathering and leisure activities like sitting, reading, watching television, talking with family or friends, entertainment, etc.

Dining Area

The standard size of a dining room is 3600 x 4200 mm to 4200 mm x 4800 mm.
A reasonable layout of a dining area accommodating eight people (with circulation and storage space) occupies an area of 12 sqm

A dining area is a space used to consume meals with family and friends. Typically, a dining area is furnished with a dining table, chairs for seating, and a convenient space for serving meals.

Bathroom

The standard dimensions of a basic toilet with a WC in it are 1200 x 900 mm.
The standard dimensions of a toilet with a WC and washbasin are 1200 x 1800 mm

A bathroom is an independent room used for bathing, washing, and other hygiene activities. It is a space in a home or any residential building with a bathtub or shower, a water closet, a wash basin, storage, etc.

Bedroom

The standard dimensions of a bedroom are 3000 mm x 3600 mm.
The standard dimensions of a master bedroom are 4200 mm by 4800 mm.

A bedroom is a room in a home or building with a bed primarily used for sleeping or resting. It is furnished according to the convenience of the occupant so that it can be comfortable for the user.

Kitchen

The standard dimensions of a bedroom are 2400 mm x 3900 mm to 3000 x 3600 mm
The minimum area of the kitchen should be 5.76 sqm

The kitchen is a workplace inside the home that is used for cooking and food preparation. It is also an important living room and meeting point for the occupants and their guests, with various relationships to other areas of the house

Walk-in Closet

A closet should have a depth of 600 mm (24 inches) or can be designed with a minimum depth of 500 mm (20 inches).

As a thumb rule, in a space of 1200 mm (4 ft.), we can design a layout that has the option of storage on one wall. In a space of 1800 mm (6 ft.), we can design storage options on all three walls, and in a space of 3000 mm (10 ft.), we can place an island at the center.
