Digital mood boards are one of the easiest options available.

You can use the following digital platforms to make digital mood boards:

2. Physical mood boards

Physical mood boards are cutouts from newspapers, magazines, books, pamphlets, brochures, etc.

Mood boards can also have a collection of actual materials, such as tile samples, fabric samples, laminate samples, and many others.

It is considered the most difficult part of designing as it requires the collection of samples from different vendors and companies. It takes time to travel, requires coordination, and carries significant risks.

4. How to select perfect images

1. Find a balance.

Filling up the mood board with images will not work. Use only what is relevant to the design and the client’s needs.

2. Remember your design scheme.

Make sure the mood board reflects your design concept and matches what you want to create or go with.

3. Concentrate on how you feel.

A mood board should convey strength, leadership, approach, conclusion, and color scheme.

4. Use scaling properly.

After all, it all comes down to the presentation and how well you deliver it. The depiction of the images should be neat and not undone.
